What is the project team working on?

Mock 1 was extremely successful. During this important step the Validators were looking at 20-30 key areas for: Member profile, every type of deposit account, every type of loan, and the member’s overall relationship with Centris. It is expected to find discrepancies between member data in Navigator/DataSafe and the new core, KeyStone. The team found 50 fields that needed to be corrected or cleaned up on Navigator before the next Mock. Below are some comments from the Validators.

I’m super excited to get to use the new system. The functionality and overall look will be wonderful. There are so many things that we will be able to do faster and better for our members.

It was very interesting to see the technical side of the conversion, how everything is mapped and migrated. There’s lots of things that go on behind the scenes that the frontline staff never gets to see. Love it!

The Mock 1 balancing experience was positive. It was great to see our decisions and mapping carry over into our Centris KeyStone system. While there were some items that caused out of balance situations, most of those were identified quickly and have already been fixed or a fix has been identified.

Although my eyes were tired and my brain was fried after validating data for 3 straight days, it was so exciting to see Centris data in the KeyStone system! There is a lot of work left to do to ensure our member data is accurate and complete in KeyStone but it is apparent that all the hard work everyone has already put in is paying off.

The system is great, a lot more user friendly than Datasafe, most information is either right on the main page or one click away. There were a few pieces of info that weren’t showing up such as rates on CDs, but other than that the system is fairly intuitive.
